Start and Pause Indexing

If a file or folder hasn’t indexed for some reason, then you can force indexing it in the super brain.
  1. Select the file
  1. Right click > “Index Now”
This will start the indexing of that file.

While a new document is getting indexed, you won’t be able to chat with the brain.
This is because the brain is updating right now, and is not ready to answer your prompts.
But if you need chat with a brain urgently, you can pause the current indexing.
  1. Open a new chat.
  1. You’ll see a message - “Indexing is in progress, pause the index to chat”
  1. Click on the “Pause Indexing” button

This will pause the indexing, and get the brain ready for chat.
You can resume indexing again later on when you’re done chatting with it.

Auto Sync

If the underlying documents of your brain change frequently, then you can turn on auto sync to keep them up to date.
Redbill will periodically check the underlying files of the brain for changes, and as they get updated, it will update the brain indexing accordingly.
You can find the auto sync toggle button in the top right corner of the Redbill window.

Search Files

If your super brain has many files and folders, sometimes it can get tough to understand which files are part of a brain.
In that case, you can use the search feature within Redbill Super Brain.
You will find the search bar in the top right hand corner of the “Manage Brain” screen inside Redbill.

View Sources

For every response you get when chatting with a Super Brain, you’ll see a “View Sources” button.
